The Satellite City BMX Club commenced in 1986. The club is situated at the Marlow Lagoon Recreational Park, Marlow Lagoon in Palmerston and is the envy of most if not all BMX Clubs in Australia. Since its commencement in 1986 the facility has made some major improvements including a million dollar upgrade which included the construction of the Spanlift Stadium which is the largest roof covering over a BMX track in Australia and proudly sits tall overlooking the Marlow Recreation Reserve and bushland west of the Palmerston Municipality.
